Darcy brings a vast breadth of product development and sales experience in multi-family real estate. Beginning his career in real estate sales 12 years ago, Darcy stood out in the industry and quickly gained a reputation for being an innovative sales professional with a keen awareness for qualifying buyers and maximizing profits.
Throughout his tenure at Solterra and Polygon Homes as Vice President of Sales, Darcy successfully launched more than 51 communities. With this came sales absorptions of over 1,700 homes per year, while maintaining a professional team of more than 30 sales people. Darcy attracts and retains the highest caliber of sales professionals in the industry as he is a proven producer and a great leader.
Darcy has used his understanding of volume sales, changing market trends and the importance of matching the product offering to buyer needs to develop a unique pricing matrix for LIFT. This matrix is designed to ensure that homes are priced to what the market will bear and can be manipulated to maximize yield and profitability based on consumer demand during the sales period. This understanding of the relationship between buyer demand, product mix and pricing is one of Darcy’s greatest assets, one that ensures strong return on investment.
In his previous experience in the Media sector, Darcy was also responsible for creating and launching Westcoast Homes and Design (formerly HomeSearch) magazine for the Pacific Newspaper Groups’ Vancouver Sun and Province. This magazine has become their most successful vertical publication to date and is arguably the leading real estate magazine in the Lower Mainland.
Darcy holds a valid real estate license and a diploma from the University of BC's Sauder School of Business in Marketing and Sales Management.
